I am absolutely thrilled to have been invited to exhibit at this year's DMY International Design Festival in Berlin, a collection of 25 photographs showcasing Berlin's extraordinary architecture styles through the eyes of an Australian Artist.

Layers, textures, materials, colour and composition are integral components in my own art practice and once again they are highlighted in this body of work.

On my first trip to Berlin in 2005 I was immediately captivated by the diversity and rich tapestry of Berlin's colourful and remarkable architecture and instantly fell in love with the city.  I knew I would be back one day. Fortuitously, I married a Berliner and had the chance to reside here between 2010 and 2012.

This photographic collection is a wonderful visual diary of my time spent walking the streets and getting lost in this brilliant historical city.  It is a testament of my love affair with architecture and my admiration for the architects who hail from all corners of the globe.  Like the people of Berlin, the buildings exude their own personality and identity and live beautifully together in harmony.  They are a statement of time and progress.

I am honoured to be a part of Berlin's creative society and to being one of two Australians appearing at this important international design festival.

I'll be attending the Opening Night Party on June 2, so please come and say hello.

I look forward to meeting you!

In the meantime, here's a snapshot:
