BERLIN DMY 2016 - HIGHLIGHTS INTERNATIONAL DESIGN FAIR

What can I say?  I've been back for one week and I miss Berlin tremendously.  There's just something about that city which makes me feel good to be alive.  It's inspirational on so many levels and has an energy and pulse which I can't seem to find in Sydney or Melbourne, no matter how hard I look.

The International Design Festival was fantastic!  The industrial venue (an old power plant) was extraordinary and the perfect choice for a design fair which made the event a must see & do during Berlin's hectic weekend opening of its 9th Art Biennale.

With over 100 designers from all corners of the globe, the festival offered an eclectic array of textured and colourful designer product and prototypes in all sorts of materials - from lighting, furniture, jewellery, fashion wear and homewares to bionic toys and the controversial independent child labour unit named The Birth Box plus much more.

I can't wait for next year's event!

I guess I should be flattered, right?
