This Website is protected under international copyright laws and other laws which are applicable in the country where the consumer is resident. The copying, reproducing, adapting, modifying, displaying, redistribution, use or publication by you of ANY PORTION of this Website is strictly prohibited. Your use of this Website does not grant you ownership rights of any kind of this Website.
You must ensure that your access to, or use of the Website is not illegal or prohibited by laws that apply to you.
You must take your own precautions to ensure that your process for accessing the Website does not expose you to risk of viruses, malicious computer code or other forms of interference that may damage your computer system. We take no responsibility for any such damage that may arise in connection with your use of the Website.
Currency & Pricing
All pricing listed on the website is in Australian Dollars (AUD) however you can nominate the currency you wish to pay in, at the PayPal Checkout. Please check PayPal's website for more details. Please check www.xe.com for current conversion rates, when making your purchase.
Prices for items in an Order are fixed once your Order has been confirmed.
Shipping & Handling is FREE for all transactions.
All prices displayed on the Sonja Robar website are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify, vary, alter, change or cancel artwork lines, special offers, promotions, artwork prices and shipping costs without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of a service.
This is a custom made to order business. Each and every artwork ordered by you is custom made and does not come off a mass production line. Please select and order your artwork carefully. We cannot make changes to an order transaction once payment has been processed and the order has been closed. A refund or exchange will not be provided as a result of change of mind or change in personal, financial or business circumstances.
Please be aware that the pictures you see on this website are low resolution images, to prevent theft. Please note that there is every chance that there may be very slight variations in colours of actual artworks, than what can be seen on different computer monitors or mobile devices. There is no one screen which can show the exact colours of an artwork. Some works will have a grainy or slightly blurred effect – this is part of the artwork and must not be perceived as a fault.
When you place an order via the Online Shop portal, you will be issued an Order Confirmation which will be sent to your nominated email address. By placing an order, you make a commitment to us to purchase the product you have selected based on these Terms and Conditions. Once your order has been received and your purchase transaction has been concluded, your artwork will be ordered immediately to satisfy a prompt turnaround time. Each confirmed order represents a separate agreement for purchase. Once your artwork is complete and ready for despatch you will be issued with an Order Shipment Advice which will be sent to the email provided by the customer.
We reserve the right to not accept or to cancel orders that request commercial quantities of artworks and that we suspect that you intend to resell or copy any of our products as a part of a commercial or personal business. In the event of a cancelled order, any funds paid will be refunded in full as soon as is reasonably possible. You will be provided with email acknowledging the cancellation and refund.
We accept no responsibility for orders that are declined or not accepted due to disrupted internet connections or rejection issues arising from PayPal gateway.
Sonja Robar is an online business and will primarily communicate with customers via e-mail. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct contact details are entered and that the nominated e-mail address is regularly checked for correspondence.
Payment & Security
Payments made via the Sonja Robar Online Shop are processed using a third party gateway, PayPal and remain secure. Purchases can be made with a PayPal Account or by entering your credit card details into the PayPal payment portal. These details are not made available to this website owner. For more information on PayPal privacy and security, please visit their site. We do not collect or record any credit card details you may provide when purchasing products from this website. In the event of future transactions, all such information will need to be requested and re-entered. Payment for artwork orders will be processed immediately upon confirmation of your Order. If your nominated payment method triggers any suspicious transaction protocols, we may contact you to confirm additional details, or rescind the transaction.
Shipping & Shipping Charges
Having production houses in both Australia and Europe, we ship to the following countries FREE OF CHARGE:
Australia, New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Austria, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, and United Arab Emirates.
Artworks produced in Australia will be distributed within Australia and shipped via standard registered post by Australia Post.
Artworks produced in Europe will be distributed throughout Europe, UK and USA and shipped by DHL.
All orders will be sent via standard registered mail and will require a signature at the delivery address. We will not authorise for artworks to be left at an address where there is no one to accept the parcel. You MUST provide an appropriate day time address and phone number for delivery purposes.
Free shipping is provided at the sole discretion of Sonja Robar but may be abolished at any time and new shipping charges introduced.
Duties & Taxes
Please be aware that any items shipped internationally may incur additional fees and duties levied by customs. As the recipient of the item, you are responsible to pay any of the taxes and duties levied by the country in which you are having the item shipped to. Your package will not be released from customs until these payments are made. Sonja Robar is unable to advise how much these duties will cost, so please ensure you aware of the cost of these fees before you make your purchase.
Order Turnaround Time & Delivery
Each and every order placed on this site will be specifically custom made in either Australia or Europe. Please allow up to 14-28 days from date of order to delivery date.
Australian delivery periods are specified as follows:
4 - 7 days (VIC and NSW)
7 - 9 days (TAS, SA and QLD)
9 - 12 days (WA and NT)
USA, UK and European delivery periods are around 7-14 days from Germany.
Customers must be made aware that there is the necessity to undertake the services of a third party provider/carrier to enable us to deliver your artwork to you. This service is distinct from the supply of goods and only includes the delivery service of your artwork. We are not responsible for the actual delivery and delivery times of artworks once despatched with the third party service carrier.

The customer must acknowledge that delays in shipping do occasionally occur and that Sonja Robar is not liable for any loss and damage caused by the delivery delays, nor to refund any amounts paid for the order. The customer must acknowledge that purchases may be damaged in transit by the carriers and in such cases, Sonja Robar is not liable in any way to provide a refund or for any other damage caused thereby or for any corresponding delays caused by the supplier carrying out their service.
Artwork Packaging - Handle Artwork with Care
The entire artwork production and packaging process is handled with great care and undergoes the highest quality control. Large format prints are rolled around a fibreboard tube to prevent unwanted creasing. Polystyrene holds everything in place. Every human effort will be made to ensure that your artwork will be delivered to you in a pristine state.
Art Prints on textured cotton rag paper are fragile and may be damaged by careless handling. It is the recipient’s responsibility to ensure that the print is opened and handled by a professional framer. Sonja Robar will not be responsible for damage to goods.
We are committed to providing our customers with products of the highest quality. All of our products are printed on order, so please select your products carefully, as there are no refunds or exchanges for a change of mind or change in personal, financial or business circumstances.
Our art prints are thoroughly checked before being sent and will be packaged with great care to avoid damage. Our products come with the statutory guarantees imposed by the Australian Consumer Law. Below is some information about the rights that the statutory guarantees provide.
When can you obtain a refund or replacement under the statutory guarantees?
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
If the product doesn’t comply with one of the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to have the product repaired or receive a refund or replacement, depending on whether there is a major or non-major problem.
The statutory guarantees include guarantees that the product:
- is of acceptable quality;
- is fit for any disclosed purpose; and
- matches its description
You can choose an exchange if a product has a major problem. This is when it:
- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the product if they had known about it;
- is unsafe;
- is significantly different from the description or a sample; or
- doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for, and can’t be fixed.
Exchange on Faulty or Incorrect Art Prints
We will only offer an exchange if we have delivered the wrong artwork.
All items are thoroughly checked before despatch and are packaged with great care. If you believe you have received an Art Print which is incorrect, you may be entitled to an exchange. The first thing to do is contact us to let us know about the problem, ideally within 24 hours of receiving your work.
- your order number and the date of your order;
- your contact details including full name, address, phone number and email;
- a description of the problem WITH photographic evidence;
Once we receive your claim we will contact you with a speedy resolution.
Cost of returning faulty products
Art Prints need to be in their original packaging to be returned. You will need to return them by post and cover this amount. Please keep your receipt for the cost because if the returned product is later confirmed to have a fault you will be entitled to reclaim your postage charges.
Transit Damaged Art Prints
Sonja Robar cannot accept responsibility for Australia Post or DHL delivering damaging items. Ninety nine percent of the time, these delivery companies handle postal items with great care but in some rare instances, items can arrive damaged. Whilst we use these organisations as a service provider to get your works to you, we are not in direct partnership with them and do not operate under their terms and conditions.
Please check your delivery in the presence of the delivery person. If you notice damage, you should refuse receipt. Then please contact us immediately with photographic documentation of the damage.
If you have already received the work before you notice damage, please contact us as soon as possible. Please keep the original packaging in case a return is necessary.
Alternatively, we suggest that you place a complaint directly with the delivery service provider by taking your item directly to the Australian Post shopfront and lodging a complaint. They will process and compensate for you for their error as it is their fault and not ours.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, email address and phone number for delivery purposes.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, you have given consent for us to send you marketing emails about new products, art sales and other updates.

Depending on the category, the information may be considered to be personally identifiable information.
